You thought it was just the infected you need to worry about? Aw, you're cute.
Green indicates they are simple to kill.
Yellow indicates they are difficult to kill.
Orange indicates they are hard to kill.
Red indicates it is a given suicide if you dare face one on your own.
Enjoy the ride, pals.

Vulture Beasts
Hibernating all year until winter, the Vulture Beast is a massive, thick pelted carnivorous creature. Not many know how this thing came about. Perhaps genetic engineering or mother nature giving humanity a big "fuck you"? The Vulture Beast is solitary, only coming together to either mate or care for cubs. Vulture Beasts are not entirely aggressive, but when they're angry at you or solely in a bad mood, get ready to be fucked up.
This thing doesn't even blink when you fire bullets at it. Tragic, right?
Saber Cats
Living in groups that are known as "Tribes," Saber Cats are lion-like creatures with stubbed tails and long fangs. Within males, the fangs grow 6 - 9 inches in length. The female's fangs are relatively shorter. Saber cats roam both the wasteland and the wilderness.
Jungle Cats
Resembling large leopards, Jungle Cats are solitary felines. Roaming the vast wilderness of New Cali, Jungle Cats are ambush predators and are almost never on the ground below. Pouncing on unsuspecting prey, Jungle Cats feast mostly on stray elk that lost their way into the wilderness... or humans.
Worgs
Living in packs, the worgs are ravenous large wolves with an appetite for anything with a beating heart. Cannibalism is frequent in the worg community due to lack of food. Hunting in the wastelands, worgs prove to be a challenge when met with more than one. Their packs will have up to twenty members at most. Lone worgs are often killed by opposing packs, or humans.
Elk
The magnificent elk. Hunted by both humans and animals, elk live in large herds, lead by a dominant male. Elk are easy to kill at a distance, though the opposing predators regularly butcher them too. Elk serve as food to both animal and man.
Buffalo
Large and strong, buffalo are also one of those creatures you see being dined on, but not easily. Buffalo are hard to take down, and will almost always attack their attackers. Buffalo are dangerous, but man they taste good...
